Hi my fellow foodies! I hope you’re all doing well
Lockdown is still in full swing, so this post is dedicated to the delicious breakfasts I’ve made during my work from home days
I like to mix things up with my breakfast as I can easily get bored of eating the same thing everyday. I decided to use blueberries in everything I made
As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all, so why not make it exciting?
First up, we have…pancakes!

Delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast is a great way to start the day
It took a few attempts to flip the perfect pancake but it was worth the wait
I topped it with blueberries and golden syrup to make it extra sweet
Secondly, we have porridge

I love a big bowl of porridge on a morning
I decided to add two squares of dark chocolate to make it sweeter and add more taste
The frozen berries are perfect to cool the porridge down as it gets really hot once out of the microwave
I think the chocolate was a bit too much to be honest, I would only add one square the next time I make it
Last but not least, we have a smoothie

I recently bought myself a blender to make some daily smoothies
This was my first attempt at making one!
I added a good couple handfuls of frozen summer berries: blueberries, raspberries & blackberries
Then I added some frozen mango chunks, half a banana and topped it up with a couple inches of milk to reduce the thickness of it
After a quick blitz, it was ready! I poured it into a glass, added ice and garnished it with a few blueberries for aesthetic purposes
It was unreal!
